Label: Epitaph
Reissued, Originally released 2004
In 2019, HOT WATER MUSIC celebrates their 25th anniversary as a band and will tour the world performing tracks from their entire catalog. Epitaph Records will also be repressing three of the band's albums on colored vinyl including 2001's A Flight and A Crash, 2002's Caution and 2004's The New What Next. The latter, HOT WATER MUSIC's third album for Epitaph, and their last before a lengthy hiatus, is easily one of the finest in their catalog. When it comes to forceful, fluid and intricate punk-inspired sounds, few - if any - roar with the kind of expression and precision found on The New What Next. "If there was one HOT WATER MUSIC record to own, it would be this one," Jason Black stated.
