On their Debut album, PAPER PLANES has tried to bring you the nostalgic pop/punk sound that was heard in the early 2000's. With inspiration from BOYS LIKE GIRLS, FALLOUT BOY, THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS, and others, the group has tried to blend their nostalgic sound with their vocally driven music by what the band considers "the perfect hybrid." Coming from Normal Illinois and meeting at Illinois State University, the goal of reliving the past through music (as many do in college) has never before been so evident.
