Opening with a contact mic attached to a canoe being dragged onto a sand beach. Electronics and a 4ms Noise Swash mimic birds and insects while slowly blooming and bubbling into one another. Bass guitar is the string that keeps us grounded, until you realize that the birds are talking about you and floating further to the sky on a cloud of synthesizers. This was written over lockdown in the pandemic and decided to make a summer cassingle for these 2 tracks that have had no home. Both are glitchy experimental ambient tracks, ending with Smeared which is a live deconstruction of an 8 second piece of audio into an expanding canvas of noises emulating nature.
