Public Enemy’s influential debut album, Yo! Bum Rush The Show, was one of hip hop’s fastest-selling records when it was released in 1987. Produced by the Bomb Squad and executive producer Rick Rubin, each track is comprised of kicking heavy guitars toward the front, honing the loops, rhythms and samples into a roar with as much in common with rock as rap. Featuring the singles “Public Enemy No. 1” and “You’re Gonna Get Yours.”
