heaving. is an experimental heavy band that is equally influenced by 90s nu-metal, 2000s emo, and modern hard rock. Formed in 2022 out of the Peoria, Illinois DIY scene, this project has quickly grown and sonically transformed. Their debut EP entitled ‘just take everything…’ was recorded in a single bedroom in Washington, Illinois, and touches on themes of drug abuse, anxiety, and heartbreak. ‘just take everything…’ by heaving. touches on themes of drug abuse, anxiety, and heartbreak in the context of loud experimental alternative rock music. The XBOX parody CD as well as the cassette tape contain the five songs on the debut EP, as well as the first three songs that the band recorded and released. CD comes with a printed disc, free sticker sheet, and a case sleeve that doubles as a poster, this CD screams early 2000s.
