It had a lithe groove, subtle catchiness, and a thrumming, murky energy. Looking back now, it was a truly unique release for Mortiis amidst the rest of his discography. 25 years on, the record's forward-thinking, open-minded quality means it hardly feels out of place in 2026, where melding genres feels more natural than staying in just one lane.
