After producing some records for the Stooges and leaving the Velvet Underground, John Cale battened down the hatches to make his solo debut LP, Vintage Violence, a singer-songwriter clinic that sounds like a man at the end of the world, looking back on his life, and wondering what he did or didn't do. It's Cale's most beloved LP, and is on cloudburst vinyl for the first time.
