Oakland, CA's AMERICAN STEEL are back after a six year hiatus, with their debut release for Fat. In those six years, most of the members continued playing as COMMUNIQUE, but the itch to continue as AMERICAN STEEL Never went away. The band reformed in 2007 and bring back their signature folky-punk sound, albeit a bit darker and more refined than their earlier material.
