"A.T.'s Delight" Art Taylor was one of the greatest drummers in modern jazz who propelled the bands of MILES DAVIS, JOHN COLTRANE, DONALD BYRD and many more. TAYLOR only lead a handful of recorded albums including 1960's A.T.'s Delight, which is a delightful and inventive set of hard bop that interprets the music of COLTRANE, MONK, DAVIS and more with a stellar band including trumpeter DAVE BURNS and tenor saxophonist STANLEY TURRENTINE. All-analog, mastered from the originals and pressed on 180g vinyl.
