With Young & Cold Records, the Berlin quintet BLEIB MODERN has finally reached its natural home port after numerous releases on renowned scene labels such as Manic Depression, Wave Tension, Oráculo, Third Coming, Wave Records and Icy Cold. In the mid-2010s, the band was among the pioneers of the darkwave/post-punk revival and has since earned an extremely strong reputation with numerous releases and live performances. The fifth album, with the worldwide network of Young & Cold Records, will take BLEIB MODERN's success to new dimensions. The self-titled album reflects the band's new self-image and their absolute confidence in the release. It quickly becomes clear that the band's sound has matured considerably. Unlike any of their previous albums, they've created an enchanting atmospheric density, something otherwise familiar from acts like Clan Of Xymox or Drab Majesty. The blend of intense atmosphere and catchiness is perfectly captured.
