To celebrate 30 years of Blur’s The Great Escape, the band will be releasing a 30th Anniversary edition on 2xLP and digitally, which includes a bonus disc of rare b-sides which have never been released on vinyl before. Originally released on 11th September 1995, this iconic album captured the spirit of Britpop at its peak and marked a defining moment in the band’s career. It defined mid-’90s Britain, both the optimism and the underlying malaise and ultimately became the record that placed Blur at the heart of one of the most talked-about moments in music history.
