California is a new band featuring Jason White (vocals/guitar), Dustin Clark (bass/vocals) and Adam Pfahler (drums) You know Jason as the other guy in Green Day and Pinhead Gunpowder. Dustin was in The Insides. Adam you might remember as the OTHER other guy from Jawbreaker. "Hate The Pilot" is the single from their forthcoming eponymous debut LP, which was recorded over several months that included the birth of two children, a throat cancer diagnosis and subsequent radiation and chemotherapy treatments. He's fine. Why CALIFORNIA? Because fuck you.
