This 1955 Pacific Jazz date captured a unique ensemble that created a singular sound with poised, impassioned performances of nuanced, inventive arrangements. This mono Blue Note Tone Poet Series was produced by Joe Harley, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analog master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI, and packaged in a deluxe tip-on jacket.
