Emerging from Istanbul’s underground, Ductape return with Faded Flowers, an emotionally immersive new album shaped by themes of global emotional collapse, social alienation, and the quiet rebellion of individuality. The album is without a doubt the band’s most cinematic work. The album repeatedly questions modern “false gods”, whether social constructs, power structures, digital identities, or manufactured ideals and examines what remains when those structures begin to decay. Across the record, Ductape paint a portrait of a collapsing order where emotional survival itself becomes an act of resistance. With Faded Flowers, Ductape deliver their most conceptually focused and emotionally uncompromising work to date, a record born from isolation, disillusionment and becoming a faded flower.
