At its heart, this is an unyielding 70s punk rock album delivered from the grave. The songs are so old that FEAR's original bassist, Derf Scratch - who left the band in 1982, and died in 2010 - is STILL getting songwriting credits. Half of these songs can be heard on demos from 197-friggin-8 for Pete's sake. These new versions are way heavier. I guess that's to be expected when you've had nearly fifty years to sit on them.
