Exploding with melodic and pummeling industrial-tinged post-punk, on Fotocrime's fifth and newest full-length, "Security," the band erupts in an unexpectedly aggressive tone. This more guitar-driven punk direction may seem like a pivot, but to those in the know, it's inherent in Fotocrime leader Ryan Patterson's musical history and DNA. Musician and noted producer J. Robbins (Jawbox) also performed on several tracks and sat in at Patterson's the House Of Foto Studio to co-produce, engineer, and co-mix the effort with him. Limited edition of 500 copies.
