Reissued 6/19/2026, Originally released 1978
This 1978 work reflects the influence of Latin music and a free-spirited approach, created across studios in L.A., Rio de Janeiro, and Izu. The album includes tracks recorded with local musicians in Brazil, a samba arrangement of Star Wars, and other unique pieces. Fans will also enjoy the beloved track ''Disco B.'' Notably, Ryuichi Sakamoto contributed keyboard and string ensemble performances. Using high-resolution audio from the original master tapes of the highly popular albums ''BRASILIAN SKIES,'' ''JOLLY JIVE,'' and the early best-of album ''ALL OF ME,'' remastering and cutting were performed by Alex Wharton at London’s Abbey Road Studios. Alex Wharton is one of Abbey Road's representative engineers, having worked on the mastering of albums by Paul McCartney & Wings and The Chemical Brothers. This limited pressing features 180g heavyweight vinyl. ''BRASILIAN SKIES'' comes in clear sky blue, ''JOLLY JIVE'' in clear lime yellow, and ''ALL OF ME'' in clear light green, with colored vinyls that enhance the imagery of the jacket artwork.
