Megaguirus is a fictional character from the 2000 Japanese kaiju film “Godzilla vs. Megaguirus”. She is a giant insect-like creature known as a Meganuron that mutated into a giant dragonfly-like monster after being exposed to nuclear waste. In the film, Megaguirus is portrayed as a fierce opponent to Godzilla, engaging in several battles with him throughout the course of the movie. She is able to fly at supersonic speeds and use her long, sharp proboscis as a weapon, making her a formidable adversary for the King of the Monsters. Despite her impressive abilities, Megaguirus ultimately proves to be no match for Godzilla, who defeats her in a climactic battle in Tokyo.
