Primal Scream were a key part of the mid-80s indie pop scene, eventually taking on more psychedelic and garage rock influences before incorporating a dance influence that broke them in the mainstream. ROG is issuing their infamous Memphis Recordings on vinyl for the very first time in the U.S., cutting lacquers at 33 1/3 rpm for the first time and expanding the album to include all the Ardent outtakes from the sessions. Pressed on 140g black vinyl, the deluxe 3LP set features new cover art and a booklet.
