The work centers on a profoundly universal theme, striking a chord with anyone burdened by the inescapable march of time. Spanning 11 carefully sequenced tracks, the album grabs you immediately with the fierce opener "Twist My Tongue" and holds on until the emotionally heavy finale, "Dynamite." A clever nod to Bad Religion on the track "LOL" bridges punk generations, adding an extra layer of relatability. The record delivers Sincere Engineer's trademark cathartic, angst-driven punk-now more polished, but just as urgent. Though Belos is playing to a worldwide audience these days, her music stays fiercely loyal to the gritty, blue-collar spirit of her Chicago roots. "We set out to make a very straight forward pop punk record," she explains, though she assures fans that her signature heart-wrenching ballads are still woven into the mix.
