Slang is the brainchild of Dave Schools (Widespread Panic) and Layng Martine III (Bill Laswell). This limited-edition 7" is remastered at 45RPM and includes Side A: "Escalator" - Featuring Vic Chesnutt on lead vocals in a song he penned in remembrance of his friend Michael Houser (Widespread Panic).  Side B: "Charlie D (Slang Remix)" -  Slang delivers high-octane New Orleans funk in this remix of a live performance from The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. First time on vinyl and only available for this Record Store Day release.
