This reissue of one of Mecanica's best-selling albums (originally released in 2018) is limited to 500 copies and comes as a double vinyl set, accompanied by a new bonus 7" (not included in the original release) featuring four additional tracks. It also includes printed inner sleeves and a photo and credits insert, all housed in a luxurious silkscreened and stitched synthetic paper cover. The Japanese electronic music scene has always been distinguished by its uniqueness. This movement, often referred to as "Nippon-wave," has remained largely hidden from the outside world. "Nihon No Wave" presents a selection of these long-overlooked recordings, making them accessible to listeners outside of Japan for the first time.
